Right, hands up, who thought we would lose at Blackburn? I did.

Yes we have been on very good form, but I thought this was the end of it. I couldn't have been more wrong.

A wonder goal each from James Henry and in-form Chris Wood secured a fantastic and somewhat unexpected win if you go by the bookmakers odds and price of the respective squads.

The Lions made themselves known in the opening minutes and could've been 2-0 up, but two goals from Andy Keogh were disallowed for offside in the opening 10 minutes, two goals disallowed in first ten minutes, anyone ever seen it happen before?

This was a massive wake-up call for Blackburn as they started to create chances as Ruben Rochina saw his shot tipped wide by David Forde, then Markus Olsson fired over at the end of the first half.

0-0 at half time.

The second half started as the first ended, with Blackburn chances coming again, with Jordan Rhodes narrowly heading over.

David Forde may come under pressure from many Lions fans in recent times, but his save kept 'Wall In the game as he brilliantly palmed away from Olsson.

Then it was the Lions turn to push on as Chris Taylor curled an effort just wide. However, the deadlock would be broken in stunning fashion. Chris Wood was on six goals in six games, now it's seven in seven as he nutmeged a defender and rifled in from 25 yards, a stunning finish.

Blackburn pushed on for equaliser but couldn't create a chance; the Lions put the cherry on top of a great win with James Henry hitting a great strike from 25 yards.

2-0 to the Lions it finished.

This win not only saw 'Wall stay in the top 10, but after a Bolton equaliser at Brighton, the Lions moved into the play-off places.

Yes, teams such as Palace rise up the table has been heavily documented, but what Kenny Jackett has done is nothing short of remarkable, before the run started we were in the bottom three, now it's top six.

To me it couldn't get any better, ohh but it did.

An Andy Keogh goal on Tuesday night against Wolves secured a massive 1-0 for the Lions, not only did it secure a move up to 5th place in the table, but the unbeaten run goes on, 12 games now!

If you offered me two points before the last two games, I would've snapped your hands off!

I said before the last two games, that the results against Wolves and Blackburn would see if we could cope with the pressure and keep pushing up the table, I expected us to do okay, but not beat two of the pre-season favorites for promotion.

There is always one surprise team in the division, why can't it be us?

The next game couldn't be any better, a home game against our noisy neighbours, Charlton.

The Addicks are in good from and have won 13 points from last the 15, and fair play to Charlton fans, they have sold just over 3500 tickets for the game, unlike another south east London team when they come to The Den....

How I would love to see another 4-0 just like the last league meeting, but I think this will be a tight affair, a 1-1 or a 2-1 Lions win.
