Hopes are high at the DW Stadium after Wigan Athletic knocked out Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter final and now they’re preparing to make their second final in two years by beating Arsenal in the semi-final next week.

And to mark this monumental occasion in the Latics’ history, they’ve released an official FA Cup song to help boost the mood amongst the Wigan faithful.

The song, titled “I’m From Wigan, Me”, sung by Lancashire folk/jug band Chonkinfeckle was recorded inside the DW Stadium as they promote their teams previous FA Cup victory.

The single was been made to help raise awareness of the charity Joseph’s Goal, where all the the money raised from its release will be donated.
