The coming summer transfer window will be a crucial one for Chelsea. Antonio Conte will have to improve a squad that looks set to be defending the Premier League title and taking part in the Champions League in 2017/18, whilst bringing in players of specific skills sets to suit his much-praised 3-4-3 system.

That's no easy task, especially considering a significant chunk of Chelsea's pedigree and experience could depart in the summer, with John Terry close to retirement, Cesc Fabregas possibly leaving in search of a starting berth and even Diego Costa's future not exactly certain after that January bust-up.

But one player seemingly already in Conte's sights is Bayer Leverkusen's playmaking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, famed for his dead ball technique, healthy doses of goals and assists and comparisons with Arsenal's No.10 Mesut Ozil.

Indeed, the 22-year-old recently suggested to Turkish outlet Fanatik that he's already in line to move to Stamford Bridge during the summer.

"God willing, I will be a Chelsea player next season. There are also a number of other clubs interested in signing me."

Whether it's true, slightly misquoted or simply an audacious claim remains open to debate. But we at FootballFanCast saw enough evidence to pose a question to Chelsea fans; would the Turkish international be a good signing for the west London club?

Well, the votes from our exclusive poll have been counted and a whopping 84% of those who took part would be pleased to see Calhanoglu turn up in west London. Get your chequebook out, Conte!
