If you asked West Ham fans a few months ago to name the most important player in Slaven Bilic's squad, the answer would be unanimous - Dimitri Payet.

But the Frenchman returned to Marseille in January, burning countless bridges in the process, and counter-intuitively, West Ham's results have largely picked up, now in a respectable tenth place and twelve points clear of the relegation zone.

An argument can certainly be made for West Ham becoming a more effective team now they're no longer focusing on getting the best out of one individual, but that raises a new debate in itself; who is now West Ham's most important player in the post-Payet era?

Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio stand out because of their goals, but captain Mark Noble can't be overlooked and Winston Reid is surely equally as pivotal at the back.
