The agent of Napoli’s Gokhan Inler has rejected claims that the midfielder is looking to join AC Milan in the summer.

The Swiss international has recently been linked with a move to the San Siro after falling behind Blerim Dzemaili and Valon Behrami at the Stadio San Paolo.

However, his agent Dino Lamberti insists his client isn’t looking to move and says he is ready to remain patient and wait for his chance to get back in the side.

“Coming back from the Switzerland national team, Gokhan had a foot problem and was in no condition to play,” Lamberti told Radio CRC.

“For the good of the team, he was on the bench, and and luckily Dzemaili did well and it is clear now that Mazzarri will not change a midfield that works.

“But there is no need to panic. He will wait his turn and he will prove to be first choice.”
