FA Cup TrophyThe FA Cup is arguably the greatest club cup competition in the world and is a competition that’s steeped in history and tradition. Founded in 1871, the FA Cup has been going strong for over 125 years and continues to showcase the best teams in English football. Over the years the FA Cup has become renowned for upsets and minnows upstaging the Premier League big guns and this continues to be the case as the romance of the FA Cup bursts through.

The FA Cup may no longer be the only football action that you can catch on TV, but despite the growth of the Premier League, the FA Cup is still one of the most sought after trophies in English football. Manchester United are the most successful club in the competition’s history, having lifted the FA Cup trophy a staggering 13 times. Chelsea are the current holders of the FA Cup, but will have to beat off competition from hundreds of English football clubs to walk those famous Wembley steps once more.
