I've only listened to the
I've only listened to the past 2 fancasts as I discovered it late but I can't believe you guys are our representatives. I couldn't disagree more with almost every point you make. I'll tackle them chronologically. Off course we need a left footed midfielder on the left, look how ineffective Diaby, Hleb, Walcott etc were when Rosicky and RVP were out. Gaff of the season selling Diara??? He wanted to leave, he was a bad influence skulking round the team and we don't need players like that at our club who throw a hissy fit when they are left out. He'll jump ship as Pompy as soon as he gets the chance, we want players who are professional. And Gallas's handball? It was instinct and a mistake but gaff of the season please!!! Player of the season - You are suppose to be a fan and you can't pronounce Bakary Sagna correctly, it's pronounced "sania, sanya" not like he's sagging. Diaby hasn't been played in his actual position so it's little unfair to judge him not good enough when he's been playing left midfield. Idiot of the Year - Bendtner rarely started and came off the bench to score some very important goals and as for the Liverpool game, he jumped to get out the way are you blind. So he had a decent season compared to Senderos. Carlos Puyol has been a disaster this season, have you even watched Barca this year??? Also on the last podcast you talked about Reyes like he aws great and only an injury at the hands of Neville changed that. Don't get me wrong he was on great form the start of his first full season at the club but once winter came by that year it was all over for him. He realised how little he liked England and how much he missed his family and he was inconsistant at best after that. By his own admission his loss of form was mental not physical. a good 3 months does not make a great player. Anyway rant over now, please get someone else to add to your podcast in the future as you 2 need a conflicting opinion

Thanks for your comments
Thanks for your comments Rob, we're looking at bringing in extra people for future shows and if you fancy contributing let us know! Now at this point, I need to let you know you've misunderstood me, as I said Arsenal should sign Ben Arfa - a left footed player! Alex disagreed with me, saying it didn't matter if new signings are right or left footed. I personally think it matters a lot, as left footers on the left add width and balance. And come to think of it, I've never said Sagna as in Sag Nah. Alex does that, not me. When I say it, it rhymes with lasagne. Alex was the one who said getting rid of Diarra was gaffe of the season and I couldn't disagree with that. It cost Arsenal the title in my opinion and I think you'll find a lot of people agree with that. Why couldn't Wenger get Diarra to stick around a bit longer? Just another few months. That's all. On Gallas, I know I'm in a minority, but to me that handball was inexplicable. You're concentrating, defending a lead and you make a balls up like that. To me, Gallas is better than that. On Diaby, I said the jury's still out or words to that effect ie. I'm not writing him off yet, so I'm not really disagreeing with you 100%. On Bendtner, listen...do you not think that he was trying to be flash and get the last touch on Fabregas' shot against Liverpool? Bendtner could have dived out the way I reckon. You reckon he jumped out of the way, well he did a lousy job of doing that didn't he? He was Liverpool's best defender on that occasion saving a certain Arsenal goal. Talking of defenders, I don't remember saying Puyol would be a good addition to the Arsenal squad. Reyes though, you're right I always wax lyrical about him. I believe Henry gave him a hard time and Reyes wanted out because he got sick of Henry coating him off for the odd bad pass. Of course, Reyes never became a legend like Henry, but given time I think he would have become one...albeit one who scored a lot less goals. Anyway, if you fancy coming on the show let us know as we want as many different opinions as possible on it.

I agree with virtually all
I agree with virtually all of your comments. The only one I'm not fully behind is the one about Diaby. I agree that he was played out of position and that it's difficult to judge his ability because of this - but his whole body language suggests he played on the left begrudgingly. As you mentioned, do we want that sort of attitude at the Emirates? The major problem that we have suffered with - not just this season, but the past few - is the lack of goals from wide positions. We were at our best when we could rely on 15 goals a season from Pires and about the same for Ljungberg. Though Hleb and Rosicky are good in their own right, they are not replacements. Bring on Samir Nasri!!!

I've never noticed anything
I've never noticed anything wrong with Diaby's body language, but I'll keep an eye out next season. When it comes to goals, Nasri looks like he could be answer...if he signs. He can shoot with both feet, though he's predominantly right footed. More goals from midfield is a must next season for Arsenal. If Rosicky could stay fit maybe he'd get double figures. Hleb seems to get more satisfaction out of a mazy dribble than a goal, so no wonder he doesn't get enough. Theo Walcott will score more goals next season and then there's Carlos Vela. How many goals will he score?

Hi Joe Sorry if your and
Hi Joe Sorry if your and Alex's comments were mixed up, I think we tend to agree more than I would with him. Would love to get involved with the podcast and give a few views which may differ. I'm not sure Wenger could have got Diarra to stay, but what happens in Wenger's office unfortunately we will never know. I really think Reyes is over rated, after all at Athletico he's been fairly poor as he was at Real Madrid whilst on loan, he may have scored the winning goals that clinched the title there but evern that wasn't enough for them to put in an offer. We certainly need more goals from midfield like we did in all out title winning seasons. Cesc has goals in him, as does Rosicky (when fit) but Hleb has no shot to speak of, which is why he never does, Gilberto gets the odd goal but not nearly enough. So maybe Nasri or Vela could be the answer but time will tell. My email is robsemailaddress@yahoo.co.uk if you want to get in contact regarding the podcast
