Chelsea Football FanCast 037

Chelsea Football FanCast 037

Posted by: Chidge, Mon 18th Aug 2008
  • Length: 44:24 minutes (40.66 MB)
Chidge celebrates Chelsea teaching Portsmouth a geometry lesson in their opening 4-0 win with Chel Tel, the Blues Brothers - Stu and Chris, and their old man, the Daddy of all Chelsea fans – ‘Big Phil’ Norman. Whilst applauding the passing and moving exhibited by the new look Brazilian style Chels, they agree with Big Phil that they should have buried Pompey by more than 4. Our own Big Phil undertakes the ‘60 Second Fan’ challenge, and we hear his recollections on following Chelsea since 1961, including hilarious anecdotes on the Cup Winners Cup win in Athens in 1971 and the infamous ‘Rotherham away’. We also hear what our new Chelsea FanCast friends ‘Chopper’ Haris Azim from India and Michael Roban from LA have to say in ‘You’re on CFFC’, and Chel Tel gives a ‘Big Phil-up’ to the New York Blues. And last but by no means least we sing our ‘Chant of the Week’ and in our new feature for the season, we award our ‘Mug’ and ‘Goldenballs’ of the week.

Great show. Refreshing
Great show. Refreshing honesty and copious drunkeness. You are a horrendous example to all the young and vulnerable Chelsea fans in the macarbe world of being a Chelsea fan. Keep up the good work. I like the walk down memory lane type of thing plus personal accounts of serious and stupid moments in your experinces as Chelsea fans. I was suprised at myself for actually agreeing with your post match analysis from all of your invited celebities, much more than those pompus upstarts on television, who claim to be football experts.

Very refreshing reads,
Very refreshing reads, David. Even better is the fact that I get them on Facebook! Indeed, much better than the other after-match reports which one doesnt need to read if the match has been watched on TV! Thanks. "We're Blue, all Blue"
