Chelsea Football FanCast 041

  • Length: 46:20 minutes (42.42 MB)
In this weeks show, Chidge is joined by Martin, returning after his month long Olympian trip to Beijing and the far east, and the now legendary Stu – one half of the Blues Brothers!! The boys all say Robin-who?, after Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over the ‘richest club in the world’, and applaud the performance of Super Frankie Lampard, especially after the ridiculous decision by Mark Halsey to send JT off. In the review of the week, we bemoan the nasty injury and prolonged absence of Mickey ‘The Bison’ Essien. Chidge compares Gianfranco Zola joining the jellied eel munchers in the east to the Mafia joining forces with the Krays! And, we say a sad farewell to Stevie Clarke as he swaps the shed end for his garden shed and ponders why he is leaving Chelsea for a small yo-yo club. We also have our regular ’60 Second Fan’ slot, and the second part of the interview with our new Los Angeles Chelsea FanCast correspondent, Michael Roban. Michael tells us what it’s like to follow Chelsea from LA, and what proper football fans in the US of A think of Beckham and the MLS. Plus all your comments from the FanCast site and Facebook group in what we like to call ‘You’re on CFFC’! <<
