On this weeks Chelsea Football FanCast Chidge is joined by Martin, and Chel Tel. The lads discuss a good job done in the deluge at Ewood Park, which once again restored the Blues to their rightful place – ‘aving a laugh at the top of the league.
The sublime passing skills of the Chelsea players, the great support from the faithful away fans as well as the Blackburn pitch drainage system all receive due praise.
Chidge’s apprehension about the trip to the Olympic Stadium in Rome proved to be justified as not only the team, but also some of the fans took a bit of a beating. The question is raised as to whether it is a fit venue for the Champions League final. We also look forward to Cup game against Burnley on Wednesday and hope that they’re not Barnsley in disguise.
In “Tales from the Shed” Chel Tel regales the story of 5,000 banned Chelsea fans turning up at Molyneux for an end-of-season promotion match against Wolves in the mid seventies and explains why he ended up drinking in a gay bar afterwards!!!
In “You’re on CFFC “ we continue the Anelka / Drogba debate and wonder why the Premiership’s top scorer doesn’t cut the mustard against top quality opposition. We also discuss the mooted move south of the river to a site near Battersea Power Station.
The Chelsea Football FanCast – Bluer than the blue states in the American election!
