Wow! What a week. Drawing, losing and then finally winning the most important game. Find out what Garret Phelan and Nick Rostron-Pike have to say about it all
<<
Garret said "[Ronaldo's] goal threat is unbelievable" and he nailed it. Ronaldo can score all kinds of goals whether it be a volley, a one-on-one, a freekick, a penalty, a shot from outside the area, a shot from a tight angle, headers, everything...
But then judging from Messi's performance at Old Trafford and his hattrick against Real Madrid last season, we can see that Messi does it when it really counts, much like Zidane.
Until Ronaldo shines on the really big occasions we cannot call him an all-time great much like Messi cannot be called the best player in the world for a stop-start, trophyless season. Right now, I'd say Ronaldo's 40 goals mean he deserves the awards given to the best player of the year but he must do it when it really counts if he is to put this Ronaldo vs. Messi debate to rest.
Hey, I love the Manchester United podcast so far.
Only one thing I'm really not so kean on ... the little clips ("Real Fans, Real Opinions") are really loud compared to the normal chat and it deafens me everytime! :(
Apart from that, keep up the good work ... maybe you could fix the sound level issue for the adds for the next one, lol
Regards, Mikey.
