The club have still yet to address the fundamental problems that have hindered Spurs progressing any further than their current position in recent years. Once again this summer we have seen the revolving door at White Hart Lane in full swing. What every sucessful team has is consistency in their squad. How can anyone expect to buy practically a whole new team every year and try to make them a sucess?! Spurs do the same every summer and have not learnt from their mistake. For example, Steed Malbranque had really started to settle at White Hart Lane last season and we had really seen the benefits; arguably our best player last term. However, this summer they decide to sell the player. Robbie Keane was not an instant sucess! His best form was discovered after 4-5 years at the club. The other issue the club need to address before they can go any further is the lack of a midfield general. If you study every single team who has won the league down the years, a midfield general was always present!
