The nominations were put forward, the responses were calculated. Now it's time to find out which players received your votes in the Premier League Select XI of the season. It may be the perfect team for some, there may be surprises for others. But that's what football's all about, and that's what we're here for. Real fans, with real opinions; so have your say, once more.
Striker - Fernando Torres
Faced tough competition in Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney, but this man has set the Premiership alight this season and was your first choice.
There was only ever going to be one match winner in the Merseyside Derby at Anfield. The Spaniard has been a revelation in Liverpool, and indeed the Premier League. A delight to watch, the 24 year-old has already been likened to Ian Rush - perhaps not in looks, more in effectiveness in front of goal and attacking prowess one would think. The similarity is worthy; a look at his goals tally tells its own story.
Many wondered whether Torres would be a success in the Premier League after failing to reach world class heights in his home nation. Perhaps he has found his new home. I feel that anyone who has been able to distract the media attention at Anfield away from our American friends deserves special praise, and no doubt Fernando's goalscoring abilities will receive exactly that, just for different reasons. One can only hope that we are able to reflect on this man's talents over the next ten years of Premier League football.
Striker - Robbie Keane
My favourite Premier League striker, not a Tottenham fan either for the record, and though some will wonder whether I actually follow football at all in view of such comments, I feel many will understand my sentiments. The Irishman is a delight to watch with his finishing ability receiving my utmost admiration throughout his domestic and international years.
If there was one man that you were happy to see lift the Carling Cup it was Robbie Keane. His commitment and love for Spurs was superbly encapsulated by his reaction at the final whistle at Wembley where he rushed to his Bulgarian team mate and strike partner. Indeed, it his relationship and understanding with Dimitar Berbatov that has meant that one of the best finishers in the Premier League is currently plying his trade on the south coast. The Tottenham no.10 boasts a superb turn of pace, and his movement off the ball is an attribute that often separates the elite from their goal-scoring counterparts. Keane, for me, has a class of his own. Yet this choice, along with all the others, was not that of mine alone. You voted, and on this occasion, the Irishman beat off Didier Drogba (needed more games) and Emmanuel Adebayor - though the stats favour the Arsenal man.
