Football FanCast reporter Freddie Myers mulls over the daily rumours and rumblings

If there is one thing that will be a certainty, come pre-season, then it will be that Tottenham will have some new goalkeepers at the football club. Paul Robinson's body language in the parade on Sunday suggested a man who no longer has a future at the club and Radek Cerny has made it known that he will be joining Queens Park Rangers in the coming weeks.

Every given day Spurs are being linked with different stoppers from around the globe like, Gomes, Kameni, McGregor and even Carlo Cudicini has been muted - all excellent keepers, but who are Spurs likely to bring in?

In today's reports in the Daily Mail it suggests that Spurs are set to make an audacious swoop for Manchester City's Joe Hart, who has recently turned down a new deal to stay at Eastlands. Hart is a fantastic talent and has just been called up to Fabio Capello's squad this week but he, like many others, has grown disillusioned at City following the of field problems with Thaksin and Sven. The report suggests that the new bleached blond Paul Robinson will be used as a makeweight in the deal with the club and the whole cost of the transfer will be in the region of £10m.

Given Joe Hart's outstanding form this season, is he the type of signing that would be welcomed? Would Spurs fans rather see a keeper with a bit more experience, like a Gomes or a Kameni? Who would you like to see as the new No.1 at White Hart Lane?

I'd be more than happy -

I'd be more than happy - him or Foster for me, and we won't get Foster because he will be Utd's number one soon! I'd rather the replacement was English and talented, he's both and has a few years in him as well! would be a fantastic signing!

Yes, absolutely! Great

Yes, absolutely! Great talent! I want an English keeper between the sticks!

Reminds me of Robinson of a

Reminds me of Robinson of a few years ago. No way worth 10 million. Spurs need to get a proven keeper - not someone who has 1 decent season.

Marco Amelia is the only

Marco Amelia is the only name we should be chasing. He's an experienced international, Italy's no. 2 only kept out by Buffon, young and confident! Livorno just got relagated to Serie B and they know he wants a move. If we really wnat to challenge the big boys we have to stop signing players for £4m, £5m, and £6m! we need quality and I'm affraid that means we have to pay for it.

Good keeper, had a good

Good keeper, had a good season, im guessing we're after 2 keepers this year, so his inexperience shouldnt be a problem if we bring in another experienced keeper. but then we need a regular no1 keeper, not 2 keepers in the team who come in when the other makes a mistake. i too would like to see someone english, or british at least, just to keep the spine of the team together, the rest can chop and change as he likes. i stuck by robbo long enough but it seems too much to come back from too soon for the man. no doubt, he will find his form again he is a top keeper who was brilliant for us when he joined. nothing we can do now but wait and see who ramos bring in. im not a fan of kemeni and i never really liked gomes, but he was fantastic against us, only thing that kept us from winning.

Good keeper, good prospect

Good keeper, good prospect for the future... but he aint ready to be spurs number 1. we need someone a bit more experienced. this is just paper talk anyway...
