The last 16 of the Champions League sponsored by Heineken continues tonight and the first of the Premier League pair left in the competition are in action. Arsenal travel to Italy to face AC Milan at the San Siro in the 1st leg of their second round clash, which is the first of the England v Italy Champions League encounters.

Arsenal have made a good start to a very important month, following up a draw against Bolton with back-to-back wins against Blackburn and Sunderland. After their trip to Milan the Gunners face the Black Cats yet again, this time in the FA Cup, before a north London derby against Tottenham, a trip to Anfield to play Liverpool and the return leg with AC at the Emirates Stadium.

But back to tonight and what is Thierry Henry’s last game for Arsenal before he returns to the MLS and the New York Red Bulls. Following goals in the FA Cup and Premier League, Henry will be looking for a Champions League strike to secure the hat-trick for the Gunners and sign off in style.

Arsenal face a reshuffle at the back due to Per Mertesacker being ruled out due to injury, so Thomas Vermaelen is likely to move to the middle of the defence and Kieran Gibbs could return at left back after three months out.
