You’re right there David, the Spanish sides are usually extremely quick to fire their managers as they use them as scapegoats for the team’s form – take Abel Resino at Atletico Madrid for example. Villarreal are no exception, prior to Pellegrini they were changing managers every couple of years. If Villarreal don’t pick up their form soon I guarantee that Valverde will go

I am surprised that Villareal have stuck with Valverde this long. Normally, spanish clubs don’t take long to sack their manager if things aren’t going well!
