Burning seats is not the biggest problem at Juventus – Serie A round-up
Milan demolished a sorry looking Juventus side in the late game on Sunday night in Turin. Milan 1st win away to Juventus since the 2003-04 season. This result now leaves Ciro Ferrara position as the coach in doubt. Diego had the 1st opportunity as his angled drive flashed across the face of goal after some good work. Chiellini had to be at his best to deny Marco Borriello opening the scoring as he blocked an effort on goal with his body. Milan did break the deadlock on the 29th minute as an Andrea Pirlo set piece was not cleared by Felipe Melo and an unmarked Nesta punished Juventus to make it 1-0 to Milan. It could have been 2-0 moments later as a Thiago Silva effort was turned around the post by Alex Manninger. From the corner Ronaldinho’s header was deflected inches over the cross bar by Christian Poulsen. Ciro Ferrara annoyed the fans after half time by not introducing Alex Del Piero, his name was chanted around the ground for him to come on. Juventus started more brightly in the 2nd half when Amauri header went just past Chiellini for him to have a potential tap in to equalise. The Juve fans got their wish when Del Piero was introduced in the 2nd half replacing Salihamidzic, so the formation was now a 4-2-3-1 with ADP to act behind Amauri. Del Piero almost made an instant impact on the game when his free kick was blasted over, but there was almost embarrassment at the other end when there was confusion between keeper Manninger and Chiellini almost allowing Borriello to have an effort on an open goal but Manninger got back in time to turn it around. Milan then doubled their lead on the 72 minute when a Pirlo corner and Ronaldinho was there to glance the header past Manninger, it did take a deflection off De Cegile. In the stands the home fans were making their feeling clear by protesting and other lighting fires and after a while the fire started to burn the seats and an artificial fog was surrounding the stadium. Milan then netted a 3rd when Ronaldinho fired home from close range.

Wesley Sneijder who was brilliant in this game gave inter the lead with a picture perfect free kick after Dejan Stankovic was fouled. When celebrating the Inter team held up a T-Shirt which was a message for Cristian Chivu who suffered a Skull fracture. Less than 60 seconds later Siena made it 2-2 when Juventus owned Albin Ekdal was left unmarked a scored from 7 yards out. It was Ekdal 1st senior goal in Serie A. 20 Minutes into the second half Siena struck again as the provider for the 2nd goal Reginaldo chalked up another assist by feeding the ball to Maccarone to score outside of the box. He is turning into a real top class signing for inter.
