This season has been something of a disaster for Steve Kean and Monday night saw Blackburn Rovers get relegated from the Premier League as they lost 1-0 to Wigan Athletic at Ewood Park.

There have been problems from start to finish at Ewood Park in this campaign, as the Blackburn fans have been chanting for Kean and the owners Venky’s to leave, almost from the start.

The supporters have seen what was coming for months now and it finally arrived on Monday as relegation to the Championship was confirmed.

Rovers have played some dire football, and the most entertaining aspect of Monday night was seeing the appearance of a chicken on the pitch – a protest directed at Venky’s.

Above are Blackburn striker Yakubu and Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi trying to get hold of the chicken, but can you come up with a funny caption for this picture?
