So Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku played for Belgium in a 5-1 friendly win against Luxembourg last night.

And the 21-year-old bagged three goals for his country, showing the world why he is considered one of the best young strikers around.

You have to wonder whether Jose Mourinho was watching the game. The Blues manager vented his frustrations over not having a world class striker all season, after deciding to release Lukaku on loan to Everton when he scored 17 goals for West Brom in the previous campaign.

Now with the imminent purchase of Diego Costa, will Lukaku look for a move elsewhere to get the game-time he deserves… possibly to a title rival?

Or will the ‘Special One’ finally give this young Belgian a chance.

I hope he goes with the latter.
