If the reported figure of £12M is anywhere near accurate then it is no wonder we didn’t buy him. 2 premier league games to his name and the same price as Arshavin? Do me a favour! Personally I am not sure Wenger wanted him as it is so uncharacteristic of him to talk about potential signings before the deal is done.
