Ex-Arsenal duo believe the Gunners will miss out

All signs are pointing to an eighth straight trophyless season for Arsenal. The Gunners’ recent skid has been hard for fans and former players to watch. The club has lost three of its last four fixtures, including a painful loss in the north London derby and an unexpected FA Cup loss to Championship club Blackburn Rovers. Also, the Gunners face a steep challenge heading to Munich for the second leg of their tie with Bayern Munich, down 3-1.

Despite their tremendous inconsistencies Arsenal still have an opportunity to qualify for the Champions League next season. The club are currently fifth in the table, only 5 points behind fourth-place Chelsea, and have ten Premier League matches remaining.

However, fans and former players have been vocal about their disappointment in the club’s performance this season. Many believe its time to part ways with veteran manager Arsene Wenger. Recently, Gunners legend Ian Wright challenged club majority owner Stan Kroenke, saying, “Arsenal’s majority shareholder needs to start answering some questions and tell everyone what his detailed plans are for the club.”

The club has a great opportunity to earn valuable points in upcoming fixtures, facing two bottom-half clubs at Emirates Stadium in their next three Premier League games. Despite these favourable match-ups ahead, experts do not predict they will be able to close the gap and finish in the top four…
