Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool aren’t looking in too a bad a shape following the arrival of Daniel Sturridge this January.
Liverpool have always just been one or two short based on the depth in the squad and the options from the youth team. Now, by adding a young player who is more than up to speed with the demands of Premier League football, Liverpool should be able to push on for a top spot in the league.
However, bargains continue to be available as well as opportunities make the best of what remains of the season. Beyond the two Manchester clubs and arguably Chelsea, there appears to be a lot up for grabs in terms of qualifying for both European competitions next season. With a few more good additions, Liverpool could certainly make some noise from now until May.
