Tottenham are reportedly on the hunt for a new striker in January, despite splashing out £27million on Spain international Roberto Soldado in the summer.

The 27-year-old is yet to find a goal for the Lilywhites in open play, while there are concerns at White Hart Lane that Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor’s Tottenham tenures have both run their course.
