Sam Allardyce’s West Ham visit Stamford Bridge this evening in hope of changing their fortunes in the Premier League.

West Ham currently sit in 18th, joint bottom with Sunderland and Cardiff City, and were recently drummed 9-0 on aggregate by Man City in the Capital One Cup.

The addition of two new Italians in the transfer window, Antonio Nocerino and Marco Borriello, might bolster the line-up but with no previous Premier League experience it would be a big shout for Allardyce to start them against Chelsea. Captain Kevin Nolan will also return for The Hammers after a four match ban.

Chelsea on the other hand will be looking to secure their eight straight win in all competitions. Frank Lampard normally thrives against his old club so will be looking to get on the score sheet.
