It puzzles me why fans of other clubs (which this writer so obviously is) waste their time and energy writing about a) something they so obviously don’t know the facts about and b) have the cheek and arrogance to feel so confident they can lecture a whole region of people on how to behave and think.

What you seem to forget in this trash article is that Newcastle fans are still supporting the team in a higher numbers than most premiership clubs. It must also be remembered that MA is 100% responsible for the current plight of the club – not the fans!! Last seasons off the field antics were a disgrace and an embarrassment to the club and the whole of Newcastle. It is MA that needs to look at the big picture as without the fans there is no club!!. and please tell me exactly what the clubs ambitions are??? – I know what the fans ambitions are for the club – the removal of MA and getting the club back on reasonable footing! Take your magic binoculars elsewhere you fool!!!!

Thanks for that; perhaps our fans value the heritage of the club and its integrity more than meekly allowing our traditions to be cast aside in the pursuit of greed. Allowing Ashley to treat the club and fans with contempt will do far more harm than missing out on promotion.
