During Newcastle’s U18 match against Chelsea, Olivier Kemen mirrored the great Diego Maradona with his goal in the 28th minute.

It wasn’t the Argentinian’s sublime skill and trickery he imitated however, but instead his incredible “hand of god” technique.

Like his idol, Kemen quite literally punched in the equalizer when he extended his right arm to punch the ball from a Greg Olley free kick. Seeming to realize he wouldn’t reach the ball with his head, Kemen blatantly outstretched his arm, much to the annoyance of the Chelsea players who berated the ref following the incident.

Kemen himself seemed undetered, as he reeled away in celebration. Luckily for Chelsea, the goal was ultimately futile, as the Blues would come storming back to win 3-1. You can view the incident here.
