Simply Man United’s 10 ‘most shocking’ kits of all time
While it isn’t the be all and end all, the kit that a team plays in is important as it represents the club. The task for the manufacturers of creating new designs on such a regular basis must be a daunting one. When it comes to the home kits, while we have seen some stinkers, they are usually pretty easy to design as the fundamentals remain the same. However, designing a decent away/third shirt is trickier as there is more creative freedom and license to play with different colours which always increases the chances of things going wrong.
Manchester United haven’t been short of some fashion disasters down the years, from the blue tiger skin design in 92-93, to the latest tea cloth resembling effort.
