Totally agree Thomas, Punditry is a joke in this country. ITV is by far the worst culprit - i'm pretty certain Andy Townsend got the job based on his working class accent, and I've never accepted Gareth Southgate's credentials after he drove Middlesbrough into the ground. The only saving graces in my opinion are on Sky Sports - Gary Neville may remain ferociously loyal to Manchester United at times but you can feel the essence of football oozing through his veins whenever he talks about one still framed image of a defender taking a single step in the wrong direction for a good twenty minutes. The rest are rubbish, apart from on Revista De La Liga, where Scott Minto and co put have rather intellegent and in depth discussions that are a sharp contrast to Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer's minute long catch-all assessments of Premier League matches.
