It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Kevin Grosskreutz leave Borussia Dortmund in the near future, but it would certainly be a huge disappointment for both he and the supporters. Grosskreutz is comfortably one of the most adored players at the club, having grown up in Dortmund and as a supporter of the club. He was a key figure in their 2010/11 title-winning season, taking up a spot on the left flank when injury kept Shinji Kagawa out. He’s a player with an incredible engine and work rate. He’ll contribute in front of goal too, with his league best being eight goals and seven assists in 2010/11.
