Following on from my feature article yesterday regarding the top ten players in the Premier League which have really ‘kicked on’ this season (which can be found here), which included the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Marouane Fellaini and Rafael da Silva, it seems only fair to take a closer look at the flip side of that coin at those who have gone backwards over the past six months.

Whether it be through injury, a chronic loss of form or a change in management that has hindered their route to the first-team picture at their respective clubs, each of the ten players included here has failed to develop or add to their game in the way that not just many, but most expected them to at the start of the season, Let’s take a look at who has made the cut.
