As a left back, spending a good chunk of your career in the same team as Ashley Cole means that your tracksuit remains steadfast in its immobility. This was the case for poor old Wayne Bridge during his time at Chelsea. The defender spent the prime years of his career at the Bridge but when Cole arrived, it was obvious that the left-back’s days of 30+ game seasons were well behind him.
