When Scottish giants Celtic signed a Kenyan midfielder playing in Belgium via Sweden, many scratched their heads in confusion.

Victor Wanyama was somewhat of a mystery when arriving in Glasgow.

However, after little more than a year, the 21-year-old has become a firm favourite with Celtic fans.

Interest from south of the border in the summer came as no surprise – his strength, consistency and determination in the middle of the park make him a very desirable player for the Premier League.
