The sacking of three different managers and now the arrival of a proven forward in English football should be enough of a hint to Fernando Torres that it hasn’t quite been good enough. The arrival of players like Juan Mata and Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge were assumed to be enough to raise the striker’s performances, but we’ve only seen small flashes of brilliance so far. Considering his fee, Torres rounds out to be the worst striker in the league.
