Gylfi Sigurdsson is not a bad player, but as of yet he’s done little to repay the faith put in him by Tottenham or in recapturing the form which saw him rise to prominence in England with Swansea. It’s always easy to make the leap when an offer from a bigger club comes along, but Sigurdsson may have been wise to extend his stay at Swansea following the end of his loan spell last season.
