Old Goldenballs could be set for a Premier League return now that his tenure at LA Galaxy has ended on a high following their win in the division play-offs.
Constant rumours are speculating over Beckham’s future, with moves to China, Australia and the French league being suggested. There are fears over the former England captain’s ability to cope with the fast pace of the Premier League now that he is well into his twilight years, but his experience alone, and quality from dead ball situations make him a valuable asset to any team in the English top flight.
Beckham finished his final season with the Galaxy with seven goals in 24 appearances, an improvement on his previous returns since joining the MLS, suggesting the midfielder could be back in good form.
He would also be a free transfer, readily available and still fit from the American season finale making him an ideal January signing. The most likely candidates to land the England legend include QPR and West Ham.
