Will Antonio Conte have a more friendly relationship with Arsene Wenger than Jose Mourinho?

It would be worth a guess that he probably will. It's hard to be more bitter about Arsene Wenger than Jose Mourinho, so Manchester United fans can look forward to that carnage at the very least.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are looking to recover from the wreckage that Mourinho left in his wake at Stamford Bridge and have already shown their intentions with some typical cash-splashing. Arsenal, on the other hand, are looking to keep up with all of their rivals without addressing some of the big issues in their squad (again).

As Conte looks to print has mark on the Chelsea squad, he has added Michy Batshuayi and N'golo Kante for just a total of £65 million, whilst Arsene Wenger has signed Granit Xhaka to sure up their midfield.

Arsenal's squad is littered with players who seem to be seeing their career stall like a learning driver, so perhaps these THREE would be better off at their London rivals...

Aaron Ramsey

Ramsey's brilliant Euro 2016 with Wales showed just how good a player he is, and he has the potential to get even better.

Unfortunately at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger often seems to use him as a utility midfielder and refuses to build the midfield around him. The return of Jack Wilshere could even seen Ramsey shunted out to a wide role once again and this is such a waste of one of Europe's best midfielders.

Chelsea, despite signing N'golo Kante, still lack midfield dynamism and the box-to-box Ramsey would be a star in the Chelsea midfield. If there has ever been a player capable of replicating the all-round game of Frank Lampard, it's Ramsey.

Calum Chambers

Although Chambers is not as far down the pecking order at Arsenal as he could be, the ex-Southampton man seems so unlikely to really break through in to the side on a regular basis.

Currently being used as a versatile covering option across defence and the number six role, Chambers has stagnated at Arsenal.

Moving to Chelsea could inject the former Saint with new career momentum.

Conte's superb record at building a strong defence would only benefit Chambers, whilst the struggles of John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic would mean opportunities would be more regular than at the Emirates.

Most importantly, Chambers could build a long-term central defensive partnership with Kurt Zouma. 

Kieran Gibbs

 

Since the loss of Ashley Cole and the foolish sale of Ryan Bertrand, Chelsea have really been a bit of a left-back crisis.

Kieran Gibbs would unlikely be the man to solve this long-term, but the player would certainly gain from a move to a club where he would be guaranteed more minutes.

His position as backup to Nacho Monreal shows little signs of changing and Gibbs' England ambitions are being slowly killed off by his lack of game time.
