Belgium striker Divock Origi is at Liverpool to complete his medical after snubbing a late move from Tottenham Hotspur, Metro reports.
Ligue-1 side Lille accepted a £10million bid from the Reds last week and have allowed the 19-year-old to discuss terms, with Origi arriving in Melwood for a medical.
Origi was one of the stars in Belgium’s World Cup quarter-final run, alerting a host of top European sides hoping to lure the player.
But Liverpool have beaten their rivals for his signature who is penning a five-year contract with the Merseysiders.
Tottenham were looking to hijack Origi’s move to Liverpool with a late offer to bring him to London, but the Belgian hitman already had his sights set on Anfield.
The starlet arrived in England yesterday to finalize personal terms and will be going back on loan at Lille for the start of next season.
Origi played 35 games for Lille last season, scoring 6 goals.
