Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna has revealed that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, as reported by Sky Sports.

The French international, who is set to feature at the World Cup, is out of contract at the end of the season and has had numerous issues when deciding whether to sign a new deal.

Boss Arsene Wenger has pleaded with his defender to sign up, but the FA Cup final next week at Wembley is set to be Sagna’s last appearance for the club.

Sagna is hoping to finish the season on a high but knows it may well be his last week as an Arsenal player.

“I’m out of contract, as everyone knows,” Sagna is quoted as saying to

“I still consider myself as an Arsenal player at present.

“But actually we had a small problem to agree (a new deal), and I don’t think I stay at Arsenal at the end of the season.”
