Arsenal have been contacted by a number of clubs interested in signing Robin van Persie, with a couple of offers on the table according to Sky Sports.

The 2011-12 PFA Player of the Year has stated that he is not going to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium, as he wants to move clubs in a bid to win silverware.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus have all been accredited with an interest in the Netherlands international, and are thought to have contacted the Gunners to gauge his availability.

Arsene Wenger has a key decision to make in whether to sell Van Persie now or watch him leave north London on a free transfer next summer.

Arsenal are thought to have been keen to try and sit down to talk to Van Persie again now that he has returned from holidays, but it is believed that the lethal attacker has made his intentions to leave clear once more.

Wonder if he is also going to change his nationality so he can win silverware coz The Netherlands are perennial underachievers

I would love him to stay but If he’s that discontent then sell him, we can then bid him a fond (sarcastic) farewell. 1 full season in eight years (laughable). If there’s clubs willing to pay in excess of 20 mil for an injury prone player with minimal sell on value bite there hand off and say thankyou very much.

I was never Arsenal’s policy to keep players that were not happy at the club no matter who they were or how good they thought they were. So why all this fuss about RVP? With the money they can get for him now they could add a few more million and buy the best in the world – players who have won silverware and know how to win it.
