Arsenal have joined Liverpool in the race to sign Chile star Alexis Sanchez, Daily Star reports.
The Barcelona winger was the star man as Chile knocked defending champions Spain out of the World Cup last night, and is now being followed by more suitors.
The Chilean recently stated of his desire to move away from the Catalan club after falling out with Lionel Messi, alerting Premier League duo Liverpool and Manchester United.
However Arsenal, who have a transfer kitty of around £100million, is set enter the race after expressing their desire to sign the 25-year-old.
The Gunners have been in pursuit of an attacker to take the load of loan striker Olivier Giroud, and is keen to make Sanchez their man.
The London club are however due to face some stiff competition from Europe’s top guns.
Earlier last month, Liverpool reportedly made an £18million bid for the former Udinese man as they prepare to challenge in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Italian champions Juventus are also looking to bring Sanchez back to the Serie-A, where he starred for Udinese before leaving for Barcelona in 2011.
