Arsenal are preparing to offer AC Milan £25million to bring Mario Balotelli to the Emirates this summer, Daily Star reports.
The Gunners have been looking for a striker to relieve the pressure on Olivier Giroud for some time and Balotelli is their priority target.
And Arsenal are ready to move for the Italian international by submitting a massive £25million bid.
Reports from Italy suggests that newly appointed AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has allowed Balotelli to move on if he wishes to do so.
They however face stiff competition from Ligue-1 side Monaco, who are looking for a straight swap between Balotelli and Columbian star Radamel Falcao.
But with Falcao’s high wage demands, the Italian side could find the money-offer much more attractive.
Another factor that will aid Arsenal’s chase for the 23-year-old striker is the Gunner’s new deal with Puma, who also sponsor Balotelli.
However fans are a bit cautious over the transfer, as although Balotelli is one of the most skilful players on the planet, his off-field antics greatly affects his game and his team-mates’.
Balotelli scored 18 goals in 41 games last season for Milan.
