Arsenal are looking to finalize their potential move for Mario Balotelli before July 10th, in order for him to be able to take part in the club’s new kit launch, Metro reports.
The Gunners recently signed a new sponsorship deal with Puma as they prepare a £27 million offer to bring the former Manchester City striker back to England.
Puma are believed to be insisting that Arsene Wenger sign the Italian star, who is also in a sponsorship deal with the sportswear giants.
If Balotelli makes the switch before July 10th, he will able to feature in the promotional video that would eventually be used to advertise the team’s new jersey.
In a financial perspective, the move to take the AC Milan man to the Emirates before the deadline will mean they can make a return on their investment through the sales of their merchandise.
Much like how the arrival of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid gave the side a much needed monetary boost, the same could be done should the controversial attacker make the switch.
