Arsenal could lose Lukas Podolski in the next week or so after his agent revealed that there is concrete interest in his client as the news could force Galatasaray to make a formal move, Express reports.
The Turkish side have long been monitoring the situation of the German World Cup winner as he could be limited to very little first team opportunities given the Gunners star studded line up.
Podolski’s agent Nassim Touihri said: “There have always been questions. Now we have a concrete interest of some teams but Lukas feels good in London.”
By revealing this, Cesare Prandelli looks to be boosted by the availability of the 29-year-old forward as his side prepare to make a proper bid over a potential move.
It was believed that Arsene Wenger will only be accepting bids of around £20million, but a more reasonable price has been set and could see the player leave for only £14million instead.
