Bacary Sagna has decided to leave Arsenal at the end of the season after failed contract talks, with a number of clubs lining up for the want away right back, Daily Star reports.
The Arsenal star will be out of contract at the end of this season with a majority of high profile teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Galatasaray all monitoring his situation despite the French player declaring his interest to remain in the Premier League.
Sagna, who wanted a three year deal with £100,000 wages, was only offered a two year deal of £75,000 instead and is now voicing his frustration at his current employers.
However, Manchester City are currently in pole position to sign the right back with a £20m package, with the Gunners’ star looking likely to be reunited with former teammates Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri.
A source close to Sagna said: “He will leave the club 100 per cent – there is no way he will stay.
“He feels very heartbroken, disgusted and disrespected by the board and the offers they are making, after being so loyal to the club for so many years.
“Now his focus will be to help his team-mates and the fans by landing the FA Cup and a top four finish.”
