Although Arsenal have already spent £61million worth of reinforcements, the club revealed they’ll go even bigger with proposed moves for Edinson Cavani, Marco Reus, and Sami Khedira, Metro reports.
With the transfer window closing in a little over two weeks, Arsene Wenger is still planning to splash the cash in order to complete his squad with the ambitious trio.
Paris Saint-Germain front man Cavani is open to a switch to the English Premier League, although his £51m asking price could possibly empty their funds.
Borussia Dortmund star Reus could also be allowed to leave earlier because if they keep him until next season, his £19.7 release clause will come into effect, cancelling a huge money switch.
Lastly, Real Madrid’s Khedira is the most likely of the trio to make a move to the Emirates as he has been told he isn’t involved in the star-studded line up for the club next season.
Should Wenger pull off a transfer deadline day deal for just one of the three players, they will be largely boosted in their hopes to become title contenders once again.
