Barcelona and Liverpool have agreed on a £63million deal for the transfer of Luis Suarez to the Nou Camp, Marca reports.
According to Catalan TV channel ‘TV3’, the Reds have accepted a £63million bid for Barca to sign the controversial Uruguayan striker.
It seems that the deal is confirmed, but the payment method has however not yet been agreed upon with the La Liga giants still looking to quickly secure the sale of Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal.
The Chilean winger could still be included in the Suarez deal, but Sanchez as publically expressed his desire to join the Gunners.
Although Suarez was given a fourth month football ban, FIFA have allowed the 27-year-old to train at Barcelona which has smoothed transfer talks.
The former Ajax striker was involved in his third biting incident when Suarez bit defender Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay’s World Cup group stage clash against Italy.
Video evidence found Suarez guilty and was handed a four month football ban, which will see him not take part in any football matches until Octover 26th.
Suarez scored 31 league goals in only 33 appearances to win the PFA Player of the Year last season.
