Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is wary that his team may have dipped in form at the worst possible time, as reported by ITV Sport.
Bayern face Real Madrid in the semi final of the Champions League after beating Manchester United, despite being behind in the game.
Since the German’s have won the Bundesliga last month they have struggled to find their best game and are set to welcome Real to Germany with both club’s enjoying indifferent form.
It is a big clash for Guardiola, the former Barcelona boss, and Bayern’s lack of form in recent weeks is a major cause for concern for the Spaniard.
“It happened to me in Barcelona too that, after we had clinched the league title, we really struggled to raise our game again,” Guardiola said.
“The aim as coach now is to build the team up again. Maybe I made a mistake.
“Maybe it was a mistake not just to carry on as we were, but I don’t want to make rotation out to be an excuse.”
