Bayern Munich have announced that they will accept offers of £20 million for Mario Mandzukic, with Arsenal prime candidate to sign the want-away striker, Daily Star reports.
The 28-year-old has been wanting to leave the German club ever since they confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.
His unhappiness at being left out of Pep Guardiola’s plans has alerted a host of European clubs as Manchester United, Chelsea, and Inter Milan all join Arsene Wenger in trying to lure him to their respective sides.
Should the Gunners come up with the desired sum, he will also demand £60k-per-week, a wage which the London club can surely meet.
However, Manduzukic’s former team Wolfsburg, are also targeting a move to bring him back to the Volkswagen Arena.
Wenger is said to have about a £100 million in transfer funds, making the switch a huge possibility after looking likely to miss out on their other attacking target, Mario Balotelli.
