The mass exodus at Southampton this summer looks set to continue, with Bayern Munich poised to make a shock move for Saints keeper Artur Boruc, according to the Metro.
Southampton fans have seen manager Mauricio Pochettino depart for Tottenham, whilst Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Dejan Lovren and Calum Chambers have all left the club.
There are concerns that Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez could be the next first team stars to depart, and now goalkeeper Boruc has been added to that list.
The Bundesliga champions are said to be in the market for a back up for first choice Manuel Neuer, and have identified Boruc as a possible option as well as Pepe Reina and Victor Valdes.
The 34-year-old has just one year left on his contract at the south coast club, and knows the chance to move to the Allianz Arena is unlikely to come about again.
Given his contract situation, the Saints may well decide to sell another first team player, although reports suggest they are eyeing Celtic and England goalkeeper Fraser Forster as a replacement.
New Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is under pressure to spend some of the money received following the exits of first team stars, and swapping Forster for Boruc would be seen as a step in the right direction.
