Birmingham City hope to complete a move for former Arsenal trialist Alharbi El Jadeyaoui in January, according to talkSPORT.
The 27-year-old had a two day trial with the Gunners in the summer, but failed to secure a permanent contract at the Emirates.
But it seems he may be given another opportunity in English football this January, with Championship outfit Birmingham City believed to be chasing his signature, according to sources in France.
The Morocco international is entering the final six months of his contract with Ligue 2 side Angers, and will be allowed to leave the club in January for a reported fee of £250,000.
Lee Clark’s side will have to move quickly to secure his signature however.
Cardiff City, Bastia, and Wolfsburg all expressed an interest during the summer, and may well reignite their interest once the January transfer window opens.
Clark is looking for some bargain signings to help get his sides season back on track.
They currently sit 16th in the Championship table having won just six of their 21 league games this season.
